MAT+SAR K9 is a non profit, 501c3 corporation that relies entirely on donations, grants and other fundraising activities to help bring in specialized training and supply unit members with field equipment. All members of MAT+SAR K9 are unpaid volunteers who give their time, money and effort to support those in need. Your financial donation to MAT+ SAR K9 will help us continue to provide this service by ensuring that finances are never an obstacle for the proper training, provisioning, and support of our volunteer rescuers. Your donation is also a tax write off as allowed by law.

You can also provide support by helping us organize Preventative Search and Rescue (PSAR) demonstrations to schools, scout groups and other local organizations, and at community events. These events are designed to educate the public about why and when people get lost and how to help prevent those situations. We also discuss the different search scenarios where MATSAR K9 is utilized as a rescource and how we train our K9s in each of the different search disciplines.
